Founder of the award winning Shared Intense Support Service, the UK’s first 24 hour intensive support service for girls affected by gang involvement, serious violence, sexual exploitation and high tariff crime.

Cherie Johnson is an award winning consultant, professional trainer and experienced provider within children’s residential care. She has extensive experience in residential care start ups, service development, regulatory practice and supporting professionals across the sector.

Her work has been recognised through several honours, including the Honourable Southwark Civic Award and the Governor General’s Award in Jamaica, recognising her contribution to supporting vulnerable young people and community impact.

Drawing on years of practical experience, Cherie now shares her knowledge through professional learning, training and carefully structured programmes designed to strengthen practice, develop confident leaders and support high quality services for children and young people.

Cherie has delivered training, facilitation and professional development across a wide range of organisations and services. Her experience includes delivering to professionals, staff teams, young people and service users across public, education, voluntary and community settings.
